Can Geese hatch duck eggs?

Has anyone used their geese to hatch duck eggs? I have some nice grays and penciled runners from Holkderreads and would like to hatch 6-8 more.I don't really want to buy an incubator and was thinking my tufted buff goose might make a good hatcher when she gets broody. She is taking care of her hay nest (that I rob daily)-- but knowing how Runners sort of lay anywhere and aren''t supposed to set well, I was thinking of "goose surrogate".....

I don't know anything about geese but I wouldn't think it would hurt to try.

Yeah, I don't see that it will hurt anything, they are both waterfowl after all. At worst, the goose's big booty might break the egg, but I doubt that.
