Can golden comet chick have a few black feathers?

I bought New Hampshire rooster and White Rock hens. Last year to produce golden comets. These are my offspring. Why do they have the darker color? Is that normal?

I’m guessing your white rocks don’t have dominant white. Assuming that they have the silver gene, you should still get sex-linked chicks, though they’ll look slightly different than the usual red sex link. What do the male chicks look like?
