I am raising a lovely blue Cochin pullet and am hoping to put some fertile eggs under her when she goes broody but was wondering if she can eat medicated chick food with her chicks?

Yeah, won't do anything to them. They usually contain Amprolium which blocks absorption of thiamine which coccidiosis needs to take hold. There is also no egg withdrawal period so it is safe to eat eggs, though supposedly trace amounts are found in eggs.

I use the medicated feed with broody hens where the chicks are having trouble with cocci. Duration of feeding is two weeks and it usually start about 10 days after chicks hatch as that is when they might have problems with cocci, especially when we get a lot of rain.
