Today is hatch today 21 and I filled my water pan up and today my pan is running low and humidity is dropping!

It has been 68 and is going down slowly, It is at 58 now and will probably start declining as whats left of the water goes away!

I have a cabinet incubator, Can I open the door quicly for Water!???????????????

any suggestions?

I would put the water in , my humidity dropped last week during lockdown and I think it spoiled the hatch only got 6 out of 12 , it was a test run on a cabinet model .

I would say it would be better to open it and add HOT water quickly. Letting it run out & you risk shrink wrapping your chicks. If you think you need to mist the eggs with warm water.

I use fish tank tubing, run it through one of the holes in the 'bator, suck up some HOT water with a medicine sryinge and squirt the water into the 'bator through the tubing.
