I recently came into motherhood of some beautiful peababies by chance, and had a few questions i hope maybe someone could answer.
First, these babies were free range from the get go, and so have always been on dirt. Do they need worming as soon as possible because of this,or at a certain age?
Secondly, how will i knowif they have lice or grouse? Will it be super obvious like constant scratching?
Also, what is the best flooring besides concrete for an outdoor aviary? I would love to do concrete but the landlord (who ultimately owns the birds, i just caretake) would like them to be free range eventually and does not want the permanence of a concrete pad.
And lastly, as far as diet goes, they currently get gamebird feed, dried mealworms and lots of dandelion greens from the yard. Is this all okay for them?
Sorry for what mightseem like obvious questions, i just want them to be completely healthy and happy. I appreciate any responses! Thank you!
