I put eggs in my bator 18 days ago, and I won more eggs in a bid that, had they arrived in time, they would have gone right in with the first set, but they arrived the day AFTER I set the first bunch, and my other bator has been filled up for more than a month now (goose eggs), and I wasn't going to waste $30 in eggs, so I put them in the bator with my first set. Well, the 1st set is set to hatch the 1st. The 2nd set should hatch the 3rd. Now, my first bunch, BLRW, I am highly disappointed in because of 15 eggs, only 2 or 3 developed. The rest were completely clear. I'll break them open later tonight and see if they were even fertile in the first place. But the second set, it's my bantams, and I have 3 different colors of Cochins (Black Mottled, Lavender, and Cinnamon Red), Black Mottled d;Uccles, and Seramas. The Serama eggs are developing, and I don't want to lose them, they will be my first Seramas! I'm suppose to put the first set in lockdown today, but the second set doesn't go into official lockdown til the 30th. How do I arrange it so they both hatch? I want as many chicks as possible to hatch! Any help would be much appreciated. I need to get this figured out by tonight. And by the way, these will be my first BLRW and I really want them to hatch too!
