Can I borrow your incubator?- Oregon

I could meet on Friday anytime before 12 noon. Otherwise I might have to miss the big meeting at the A&W and meet with Tsagirl in corvallis later that evening (after 6pm, sometime that I'm not crashing the wedding hopefully).

So just to clarify, I am getting the non-working incubator from shmooborp, via coffeegirl via John. I am getting John's working incubator to borrow in exchange for a hatching of chicks (I'm working on getting some purebred eggs in a separate deal). And Tsagirl is bring a dozen farmer eggs for me for $3 (right?) to also hatch for John.

John, you'll take everything that hatches, right? I'd be screwed if I ended up with a couple dozen unwanted chicks (although who knows how many will actually hatch).

Oh, and a HUGE Thank you to everyone for helping to make my crazy deal work out. You all are awesome. I'm so excited to attempt hatching eggs.

I am coming to Corvallis around 12 because the rehersal for my friends wedding is at 2pm and we have to check into the hotel by then. Soooooooo...since I need to unload all the chickens......

How about Homegroan"achers" (which is really more like it) being
there at 10:30AM so that Ali can get her hens? Would that work
for you Ali?

If not maybe we can get bungaree chickens to just come and sit behind
the A&W for a few hours.

If I can help I will. I can come get anything that needs getting and the corvallis area people could arrange to pick them up at my house or something...not sure if that helps AT ALL..but just in case. I am available, so I will help if I can.

gardener is involved but does not know it!

I am picking up his hens tomorrow one of which will
be go along with me as a suprise.

The only other person that I am aware of is PulletSuprise
thats not in this mess YET

We have a new member that just joined from Monitor Hhmmm

Do you think they would transport ok in a pet carrier?

A couple of Qs about the Hens..
What feed are the on? Just a layer?
also are they free range or used to a run?
