can i breed bantam cochin roo to a LARGE cochin hen?

He will try. Whether or not he can make 'contact' is another question. Due to their heavy feathering full size cochin roosters sometimes have trouble getting the job done.

People find it funny but I don't care for it as sometimes the hen's feathers get damaged from the little rooster's repeated and frustrated attempts.

If you really want chicks or have some other reason for doing this, you can do artificial insemination and the the fertile eggs will develop and hatch normally. The offspring are usually somewhere in between in size when they're all grown up.

I agree he'll give it his best, but your fertility may be horrible. Why do you want to do this?
