Can I breed my Frizzle hen with the neighbors Barred Rock rooster?

Your frizzle IS beautiful! The combo you're going for is exactly what I want. I'm looking forward to my banty barred rock cockrell to mature so I can put him with my white frizzle. I really want frizzled barred rock! I wonder if anyone has pictures of that mix that we could see.

I think a frizzled barred rock would be beautiful. I absolutely love my Cochins personality! Both chickens are standard size here.

Good luck. I hope you get the results you want! Here is my frizzle, she is 9-10 weeks.

It was my understanding that frizzles feathers were suppose to be brittle and somewhat fragile. That is not the case with Daisy. Her feathers are super ultra soft and silky. I'm not quite sure of her color. I'm guessing she is a columbian/blue or columbian/splash mix color. Her feathers are not fully through yet. Daisy was very slow to feather and didn't start feathering beyond her tail and wings until she was 4-5 weeks old. Anyways, I took a ton of pictures of her today. She absolutely loves sitting on our lap. She is roughly 9/10 weeks old.

I love Daisy's coloring whatever it's called!! My Bonnie has two or three solid black feathers. I keep hoping she'll get more in but so far, no. Her feathers are super soft too. like yours, except the long ones on the wings. They look brittle to me but I guess they have to be stiffer to get lift off.

Standard would be even better.
Here's my frizzle:

Looks a little young tbh , my blue barred rock is way bigger and under a year old already studding my blue Australorp and my white leghorns so far out of eight eggs I've just hatched five three yellow chicks and two blue grey white chicks not even two days ago three hatched and yesterday on Christmas and today .the Australorp eggs are small and brown but the chicks come out fine but fluffed out to be about the same size as my leghorns , a few have black flecks and I'm sure they'll have ghost barrs
