Can I butcher Cochin Standards and When?

I am getting some Black Cochin Standards in and wondered if I could butcher them. I know they will be small but that is ok.
I plan on using them as fryers.
Any help would be appreciated.

yes you can butcher any chicken but it just takes longer for different breeds but just guessing 8 to 12 weeks if your just going for fryers but now that depends on how well they grow

You wont get very big cochins at 8-12 weeks. They do get very big, but it takes a long time. They are very slow growers. I am thinking, trying to remember, and I wouldnt think you would want to butcher before 20 weeks. But I am not sure. They have so much fluff it is really hard to tell how big they are.

I have a Cochin Cockeral who is at least 6 months old. And he still seems to have a lot of growing to do, I am guessing him at about 7-8 lbs. He is still smaller then my full grown Cochin hens.
