i want to order some chicks from tsc they are not selling them in there store i found the web site one time and cant find the web site again and when you order from tsc on there web site will they ship to my house or do i pick them up at the store and if they are not selling them in the store can i still order on line

Hi I had a bad experience from them lost my $40.00 shipment they order from another supplier when I call them to find out about my order don't have any information who send them or to what p o box by the time I find out where where my chicks the 48 hour later then my pick up time post office already got rid of them never again will I order from them

Did you happen to ask when their next shipment might be? My TSC just got a shipment of Production Reds in last Thursday, so some stores are still selling. And oh they are beauties. Only problem I had was that the staff wasnt very knowledgeable and they were also told the majority of the chicks were female, which was not the case. Buyer beware!

I am just going to say, that where ever tsc gets chicks from is not a place for healthy (or correctly identified) birds. I got 6 chicks from them. One died, likely because it was weaker and smaller, and under a week old, so the double shock of going from hatchery to tsc to my house killed it. The Wyandottes were pasty butt polishes. It is one hot mess, and now I have to put polish in my flock. Not a good thing. I think they have luck on their side though, as they are wave two of chicks and the older guys are too tired of the Marans to care though.

From reading other people's stories about chicks from tsc, I would probably order chicks from a more reputable hatchery. Lots of good hatchers out there to order from.

Check out the Forum page, and search on your state. There are helpful people here that will offer chickens for sale..

I would suggest waiting until March/ April when they offer the chicks within the store. The winter is close upon us, and the chicks would be slightly difficult to get up and running unless you have a heated garage or out building.

I was a complete newcomer back in April, but made a solid purchase from TS and they are all doing very well. They have a complete line of pre-made coops that are simple to assemble. Not to mention, all the things required to get started. I was successful after getting endless tips from the TS employees and customers within the store. Very Nice People, and always willing to help. Not to mention the BYC community. Its all right here for you... Good Luck..
