can I dye these?

Right when I'm down to the final few pounds of my goal weight y'all gotta go and post about chocolate?! And I thought y'all cared about me! hahaha.

With a crawling baby in the house, I'm lucky enough most days just to collect eggs!

I had DGD help me blow them, she thought it was cool!

I am cheating this year and found a 2.5lb. box(?) of Ghirardelli candy making & dipping bar at sam's club. You can even do this in the microwave! One of these days I will have a REAL temperer!

The recipe that I am using is from an old sunset mag.

I will post a pic after DH opens one and takes a bite!

chicken theif- You melt choc. pour it through the hole on the bottom (after taping up the one on top, of course) and swirl it all around inside to coat it all. Drain any extra out. Let it set in the fridge, then coat again. Put back in fridge. When it hardens it will just give you a hollow choc. shell. Then you can fill with whatever.
 
I usually make dipped coconut eggs that taste just like mounds, I put an almond on top of some so they are like almond joys. This year though I am making dipped peanut butter eggs instead.
