Can I eat the egg?

I have a hen, she recovered from an unknown illness, and about 1 and half months after recovery started laying. Is there any illness that would stop me or my child from eating her eggs because she was previously ill?

If hen is back to laying egg, things seem to be back to normal. I would not hesitate eating such eggs.
Cover some of hens' symptoms of her illness,(that she went thru) and lets see what others suggest.
Many chicken illnesses are linked to respiratory issues, and some don't make it thru.
If hen did overcome such, and was able to shake it,, I think hen is back to HEALTHY.
