Well this hatch i have decided to use the cockrels for meat, i will be feeding them on chick starter for 4 weeks till they go outside the hens will be eating growers and then layers but the my dad said just feed the cockrel barlie with some growers mixed in with a ratio of 4:1 as it has 20%+ protien and as we live in a beef farm we have tonnes of barlie so we wouldent run out. but heres the thing what do you all think should i feed them barley or any other suggestions?

I feed barley in my whole grain feed that I feed. It's good that you are adding something else as well though because I don't think the barley by itself would be enough nutritionally but mixed with other nutrients it's great and so far my birds love it.
