can i feed carrot tops to my quail?

i just pulled a mess of carrots from the garden and was wondering if the coturnix can have the tops?

I don't see why not. They're not poisonous. I've given them to my chickens and they like them.

A lot of people don't know this, but back in the middle ages, carrots were grown more for their greens than for the roots. They were cooked like other greens, or put into soups and stews. Or, so I've heard.

i give them to my rabbits as a rule, now i have TWO more uses for them.
