The kids just picked 6+ lbs of cherries & I've been pitting all morning!
There's some good fruit around many of the pits.... as well as a few wormy cherries. Can I give the remaining cherry pits & parts to my flock? Will they peck around at the fruit or try to competitively swallow the pits before the other chickens grab them? Will it give them crop / gizzard issues?
