Can I feed it anything to put it out of her misery?

I have a hen that prolapsed. She is not doing well at all. I'm going to put her out of her misery. Can I feed her something?
Like an overdose of melatonin in water or something?

Please answer. I am not interested in hands on kills. I have looked up ways to keep her alive but for the most part I have read that they just prolapse again and it just prolongs the pain so please don't post with ways to save her.

A trip to the vet to euthanaise is quite cheap if you are like me and can't bring yourself to swing an axe.
