My uncle gave us a couple of jars of his banana, rowan berry and apple jam. Problem is none of us eat it. Can I feed it to my chickens? It naturally has sugar in it, which is why I ask. I feel so bad throwing it out, but that jam just isn't his best. Could I feed it in small portions for instance as a snack?

No.
There isn't any more that I can add really apart from the main problem is the high sugar content.

Or regift it. Or give it to a food bank. Or bake it in a cake.
I'm not at all picky when it comes to food so normally I'd eat anything, but those dried up and bitter rowan berries in with the banana, I don't think anyone but the chickens would eat that. I do have a compost though so it won't go to complete waste. :)
