Can I feed my chickens Potatoe peals?

Can potato peels be put in the vermicompost bin, or will they get really stinky like rotten potatoes do? (I wouldn't care outdoors, but my wormies are in the basement!)

I boil them and they devour the lot!

Mine are all still alive and kicking and they LOVE raw potato peelings.... fed it to them for many weeks in a row with no ill effects.

Sometimes it's just easier to put them in the garbage can though.
