Can I feed my chicks sprouted wheat or do I need to wait for grass?

My chicks are 6/7weeks old now and I thought I would try something nutritious on them, but need to know it will be ok. Do I give them some small bird gravel with it ? Thanks I'm new to all this

Lots of folks feed sprouted grains, and yes, they should have some grit to grind it up with. You can buy chick grit. I just use the fine stuff at the bottom of the adult grit bag. Lots of folks use sand.

Thank you that made it much easier on what to feed! I bought parrot grit, I do hope its ok, if not I will go and get something that is ok. Thank you so much
