I've got a bunch of figs that I won't be able to eat in time. I know I can feed them to my chickens, but I want to make sure that it's safe for the ducks too as they all range freely together.

If anyone knows I will be eternally grateful :)

I wouldn't. They may act as a laxative......... [IMG]

I would a few at a time. It has been my experience that well feed animals will not eat what is not good for them. The only exception to this is chickens and styrofoam! Go figure. Anyway, if they don't like them they won't eat them. If not, the figs will just have to be compost...

I'd agree a few at a time like dumb cluck said they may act as a laxative.
