Can I feed the flock raiser to my chickens full-time

I have some 9 week old chickens and I am now thinking about putting them on flock raiser. Could I feed the flock raiser and at 18 weeks give them the option of oyster shells. And keep them on it for the rest of their lives? In a few years I might try raising my own chicks with a broody and that feed would work well for both adults and baby chickens with the adults getting the extra calcium. Does that sound like a good plan?
