can I feed this to chickens?

i was wondering if i can feed cinnamon,apple oatmeal to my chickens.And what is grit used for and what does it look like?

Yeah, you can feed it. I usually feed mine the old fashioned oatmeal.
Grit helps the chickens grind up their feed, since they don't have teeth.
Looks like and is small pieces of gravel or rocks.

If you have chicks, grit is sand. Parakeet grit from the grocery store is fine.

For adult birds, they'll need larger pieces of rocks, gravel, etc. You can buy it at the feed store or if they free range they'll find their own.
