Can I get a gender check

All my others have really obviously a lot of speckles or NO speckles. These just have a little bit of speckles. Does that mean male or female? PXL_20220222_161745046.jpg PXL_20220222_161942134.jpg
 
I'll also mention these are both from a coturnix feather sexable mix, and are both pearls.
 
That one has pretty clear crescent facial markings, so I would guess hen.
 
Are they different birds? The head markings look different, but it could be the angle. 1 looks male, 2 looks female. The first pic looks definite male, due to the head markings, male Italians tend to have lighter head markings, particularly around the neck and back of the head, and they turn black or dark brown as they mature.

They are two different birds. The first one isn't the best picture, he's in my grow out pen so I'm not as concerned with that one.
The second one was hopefully supposed to be a hen in a breeding group so I was hoping that was a hen! Lol

In that case, I agree with @FloorCandy . First is a roo, second is a hen.
