if you can give persay a bath or wet the saddles down you maybe able to see them properly. you would have to dry it up pretty well so it doesnt get cold and sick...how old is it?

Thanks all. I was pretty sure it was looking rooster. The biggest relief is the other being a girl. I can handle one rooster if I have to. Not sure what we would do with two

And woke this morning to Hubby shaking me awake at 6am saying can you hear that??? Dear Ed was up in the chook house crowing his little heart out. Guess that answers the question LOL

Now to cross fingers that it doesnt annoy the neighbours since we live right in the middle of suburbia. He wasnt real loud being a bantam, just hope he doesnt get any louder as the chook pen is actually closer to the next door neighbours bedrooms than ours.

I had a bantam that was just as loud as the big guys!!! When they first start crowing it's not as loud until they get the hang of it

Looks like a nice little rooster to me. I raise Silkies and the comb seems too large for a hen. The Britte coloring is typical rooster in most breeds.
