Can I get a trained eye’s opinion??

My first EE and I was under the impression it is a hen. Posting a few pics to get a trained eye’s thoughts. It is 2 weeks old. Thank you in advance for your thoughts.

Ok so the fact that I’m seeing comb so young shouldn’t mean it’s a cockerel. Just color of it at 4-6 weeks?

I just looked at it next to some of my other chicks. Unfortunately it’s the only EE I have but I do have a 4 week old pair of Cream Legbars. This EE is 2 weeks old and is the exact same size as my 4 week old cream legbar pullet. Does that sway your thoughts at all?

The combs usually remain small before four or five weeks, I think, so there shouldn't be much of a difference....
Could you post some pictures of the chicks?

I meant the chick itself and not the comb. My 2 week old Easter Egger chick is the same size, body wise as my 4 week old Cream Legbar pullet. Will post photos tomorrow.

Yes, that's about normal for that age.
Ooh, they're so cute! Looks like the Cream Legbar is getting its little crest in already!
