I have a white silkie hen that just got done with her older chicks that she hatched a couple months ago and she started to lay eggs again and I left them there because I wanted to put some in the incuabtor but since she just got done with her chicks and stuff I don't want her to go broody again till next spring and with fall around the corner I don't want her to stay broody since they don't eat/drink as I was wandering? I have 4 chicks 1 easter egg mix and 3 bantam mix the EE mix is about 3 days and the bantys are about a week and 3 days so I was wandering if I put the chicks under her this early if she would accepted them yet because she showed interest int he clutch yesterday but didn't sit long and now today she's been sitting since this morning so I was wandering if she would accept?....thanks!
