can i give them bone meal?

i have a bit of bone meal and i was wondering if it would be good to feed to my chickens?
they are 4 weeks old and are not meat birds so would it be to much protein?

Bone meal is an ingredient in some chicken feeds but im not sure they should eat it strait. hopefully some one will come along with answer for you.

I think bone meal would also be pretty high in calcium, which you don't want for chicks that age.

Bury it with your bulbs and any trees you plant. It's likely what you have is garden grade, unless you got it from a butcher's saw. In that case...give it to your dogs.
