I have 7 geese, 3 Embdens and 4 Toulouse, and one 2 month old Toulouse who I believe is a gander. I have the opportunity to get another gander, (some sort of cross, he's white with gray spots, very sweet guy who shares 6 geese with 2 other ganders with no problem), who I adore but if the baby is a boy, can I have 2 ganders with 7 geese? Or am I asking for trouble?

My experience has been that multiple ganders are not a problem. Mine will pull some feathers out of the other ganders, but there is no actual fighting, or even any posturing.

But of course, each bird is an individual, so you would have to pay attention.

I had 4 ganders for 5 girls this year, no problems. They will pretty much pair up on their own during breeding season. Its not like roosters where one male tries to have all the girls to himself.
