Can I Have The Good, Bad And The Ugly

Hello, I am getting chickens soon within the next months so I won’t to start getting tons of facts I have also thought about ducks because they’re just so cute I would adopt them from someone from Craigslist most likely so can they be kept in his the chickens I’m only allowed to get 3 so they would help to fill up my flock I can probably only get 2 they have to be in my flock with the chickens but I want to know the good the bad and the ugly that comes with owning ducks here’s some Pekins I saw at craigslist

Are you getting chickens or ducks? What exactly are you looking for info on? Might help if you go into a little bit more specifics.

Ducks with chickens is a bad idea I believe personally. Ducks are very wet birds compared to chickens and the Pekins don’t roost. I am building a duck house for the ducklings and goselings I’m getting this spring.

I don't mind running chickens with ducks BUT but but.. i don't like them living together... ducks especially pekin are water messy, chickens don't like that...

I also find some chickens can be rather aggressive with ducks.. my layer flock are mean as heck to my ducks... mind you the previous chickens were more tolerant more just a caution.
