I have one that holds 41 eggs. I have never hatched duck eggs before. Any words for the newbie.

I alway's incubate mine at the same time. I just run my humidity a little higher. I have done pretty good so far. You do know that it takes duck eggs longer to hatch right? 28 day's for ducks.....

Together will work, but would be best if you have a second bator to use as a hatcher since the chickens will hatch a week earlier than the ducks.

Thank you for all the info. Yes I know they take longer. What do I do when it comes close to hatching time for the chicks. I have a turner should I take them all out and remove turner and turn the duck eggs by hand. What about the humidity? Should I turn the humitity up. Will it hurt the ducks to be so high?

Yes take the turner out when it comes time for the chicks to hatch. You could put the duck eggs in a egg carton so it will be easier and quicker to just open the bator and tilt the carton. Crank the humidity up. It will not hurt the duck eggs because they are suppose to be incubated at a higher humidity anyway.
