Can I incubate duck and turkey eggs together?

Hahaha... not sad... I was just thinking since both hatch in 28 days it would be a good idea... I have only hatched chicken eggs. I am expecting duck and turkey eggs and just have one incubator.

Well, guess I would have to decide which ones to incubate and which ones to let mommies deal with... I think I will probably incubate the duck ones because I have heard Pekins are not good at sitting...

Thanks for your input. I need to do more research, but in the meantime hope to hear from anyone who has done this... I guess someone has probably tried this before...

I do it all the time, including chicken eggs too, but I have a large GQF cabinet incubator that holds about 200 eggs at a time ! I wish I could be of more help! What model incubator do you have? Maybe someone with the same model can give you better advise ?

Well, mine holds 48 chicken eggs.. is a Still Air Incubator Model 2100 from Farm Innovators.
In your incubator (given I understand is not the same and can accomodate many more)... are all at the same temp and humidity levels?

do you incubate turkey eggs on their side like ducks or geese? also, I wonder if there is a "happy medium" on the humidity percentage that might be reached so both could be incubated?

I too have waterfowl and turkeys coming; mine are geese and turkeys....... ducks are fixing to hatch this week and next week.
