The temperature today did not get above 40 here in Southeast Georgia and I collected six chick eggs from the coop. Is it ok to incubate these eggs after being in the cold weather for 8 hours?

Thanks so much for your advice!!!

perfectly fine if peole can hatch eggs out they buy from stores that have been sitting in a refridgerator for 3 or more days then 1 night is not going to make a diffrence go ahead let us know how it turns out

I hatched goose eggs that were layed in 8 inches of snow..last Feb.

I hope they don't do that again this year..

40 degrees outside is not that cold, and inside the coop should be even a little warmer..

hold hem at room temp for a day before putting into the bator, though.
