Can I Introduce Chicks to Hen?

I have eggs in the incubator from several of my hens. I was wondering if I could introduce them to their momma hen when they are mature? If so, what is a safe age to do so? Do I need to worry of the rooster? I have a separate pen for such occassion as well. Any thoughts?

If she hasn't gone broody and hatched them, then hens usually will not take chicks. They are pretty quick to kill them in my experience.

I have a hen that fights with her own son, another hen hatched it, so in her mind it's not hers.
