Well, my hatch didnt go as well as i hoped and only one hatched. I dont want him to be alone while he's growing up (he has a mirror and stuffed animal right now) and the local feed store is gunna start selling chicks soon, but he's already a week and a half old. Should i buy more chicks, or will he hurt them?

I added to ours and they were a little over 2 weeks apart and did fine.

I have chicks from different hatches brooding together, as much as 3.5 weeks apart. They're fine.

    Yours will be fine, too.

Yep, I've done the same and have had them 4 weeks apart and still be fine. I was so scared for the little ones, and it was so funny, the little ones would just run right under the bigger ones and come out the other side.
