Okay, so at the moment I have 10 australorp hens, 3 australorp pullets, and 1 guinea fowl rooster. IF there are no fatalities in between now and March, I'm considering getting a couple Sebright pullets with my Wyandottes and EE's next year. (I'm thinking two of each.)
But would they be okay with my current ladies? They aren't vicious, but birds will be birds.

Does anyone have any experience with this sort of thing? Am I headed for WW III or a few more omelets for breakfast?

Thanks(:

I'm pretty sure it'll be fine. I'd just be carefull on the introduction........
I have a Silkie with my Black sex link, Australorp and Brown sex link.

Sebrights are pretty small bantams, so I'd be worried about them getting picked on by the older, larger birds (Sebrights weigh 18 oz, while Australorps weight around five pounds, atleast). If the guinea fowl rooster tried breeding the Sebrights, he could injure them.

With that said, some people do keep bantams with large fowl chickens. I've never done it myself, though.
