Can I keep two males with 6 females?

Just a quick question, when crossing to make jumbos what should we look for. Just biggest rooster with biggest hen?

Also what if we cross the earliest laying biggest bird with a late maturing big male? I'm just wondering if we add a late maturing rooster the boys will keep quiet until they get some meat on them. Mine start crowing when they are a month old

Yep just cross the biggest ones and eat the little ones. Don't breed hens that lay eggs that are odd shaped or very small or way too big.

I have 5 roosters and 26 hens at all times and you never hear crowing around my place. They crow because of environmental factors. If they don't have hens but can see them they'll crow, or for sights and sounds that are bothering among other things. Happy cots don't make any noise.
