So I have seven grown chickens and then two eight week old roosters and a eight weeks old pullet I also have a batch of 4 silkie chicks I'm guessing at least ones a rooster but I'm not sure cutting the silkies out of the picture until I know their gender do you think this could work? I could really use some advice!!! My grown hens are jersey giants buff Orpingtons and a blue laced Wyandotte my little cocks are calico Cochins and my pullet is a frizzle Cochin not sure if the big breeds help or not hope this can work!

I kept two roosters with three hens for a while and there was never any fighting. It really depends on their personality and how much they want to mate with the hens.

It all really depends on how the roosters are. Some roosters do great together and can live in harmony.
There are a few things you might want to think about, such as overbreeding on the hens, when the roosters are breeding on the hens some roosters do it a lot and if both of the roosters like to really get it it can harm the hens
You might also want to think about who is your “favorite” if it turn out they can’t live in peace and fight all the time you might want to consider getting rid of one of them😊

Too true the problem is I love them both the same so hard to pick faves my old rooster who I had to give away was very very big his nails were long and sharp every time he mated he was ripping open their skin without me knowing one day I was cuddling with them and Marigold the chicken on my lap was preening when she went to preen her wing I saw a big wound poor girls!!! We gave him his own coop but he was outraged at being alone and he wasn't good with little kids he was always chasing them so I had to rehome him it broke my heart so then the lady I gave him too gave me three chicks and yes two of those chicks are cocks!!! Classic I give away one roo and get two!!! Hope it all goes well

Rule of thumb says that one rooster should get about four hens to himself, but every chicken is different. I think you should be fine, as long as the roos aren’t fighting over girls, which can be traumatic for the ladies.

Yay!
