can i leave eggs to hatch in an egg carton???

Someone told me that it helps with clean up and keeps chicks from trampling on other eggs trying to hatch. It's an egg carton with the lid removed. What do you think

I've never tried, but people who have seem to be able to do it just fine. I can only assume they must be able to get out.

it's a very good idea. i think it would work as long as during lockdown they are placed with the air bubble on top. let us know!
