Can i leave my rooster and hen together while she's sitting on her egg's?

My hen is nearly going to sit on her eggs. when she is going to sit on her eggs will the rooster mate with her? should i separate them or the rooster wont mate with her while she's sitting on her eggs?

Hello I was just wondering so what breed is she? Is she broody at the moment? and no I would not keep the rooster in with her as he may try to mate whilst she is setting and crack or damage the eggs hope this helped
