I'll take it this time.

Never mix chickens and quail. Chickens carry diseases that quail have no resistance to. There are plenty of threads here about what can happen, and it ain't pretty. Some people will say it's OK, but really do you want to risk losing all your quail and making them suffer in the process? Not worth it. Keep them separate and service your quail cages and pens first every day so you don't transfer any germs to the quail from the chickens. Always wash your hands well before handling the quail feed, feeders, enclosures, eggs and birds.

As chicks it's ok I guess but once they grow I'd get them separated. I've seen a drake drown a rooster on purpose so take that for what it's worth.

The other thing to think about is that ducks historically were only susceptible to a few diseases. In the last several years a strain of coryza has developed that can affect ducks. Because of this I'd keep them away from chickens, mostly since chickens get/carry coryza somewhat commonly, and who really wants to deal with disease issues?
