Masocovies and chickens in a run during the day time if the chickens are a year old and the ducks are only 3 weeks?

I would observe them together for a very long time before letting them be alone together. Especially in an enclosed space (as opposed to a large yard) if the chickens feel the ducklings are bugging them and chase them off, they have no where to go.

I am getting the muscovies on Monday but I wanted to keep them in a pen for the first week or two that there here. At night they would be seperated.

I would not put them together with that much of an age difference.

My Muscovies and bantam cochins have always lived together with no problems. I would keep an eye on how they treat the babies though, they could be pretty mean to them.

Well I guess I whined enough to Dh because he is on his way to Home depot to buy me 12x12 shed to divide in half one side ducks and geese the other side my chickens plus the coop I have that is 6x6 with 5ft run. I am in heaven hatch due tomorrow, getting my muscovy ducks tomorrow and new coop. [IMG]
