Can I move ducklings and mother? *Photo's of Saxony x Cayuga ducklings included)

Hey everyone!

Sybil has just hatched out 5 or 6 beautiful Saxony x Cayuga ducklings. They are soooo stunning!!

She has been under shelter and we have been putting fence posts in front every night to stop foxes getting in.

Now the ducklings have hatched,, will it be safe to pick up the ducklings and move them to a coop with the mother or will the mum abandon them?

I don't want to leave them out there because we have a cat and I wouldn't want him to get any of them!

Yes you can move them, but make sure to provide material so the mama duck can make a new nest.

They look just like some ducklings I hatched once. It will be interesting to see what they look like when they grow up.
