Can I move some of my eggs to a different incubator?

I have 2 batches of eggs set to hatch as different times but mixed up between 2 incubators. I want to move 3 from a Brinsea Mini II Advance to a MagicFly, and 6 from the MagicFly to the Brinsea. Will that mess up the eggs? I would move them when the first batch is on day 18 and the other is on day 10. I want to do this so I can still turn the younger eggs while the older ones are in lockdown

For mixed hatches people usually move the ones that will be going on lockdown to a different incubator on day 18.

How many incubators are you using now? I’m not understanding the moving around my brain is not working today

I have 2 incubators. I want to use one as a hatcher, it won't be auto turning. The other will still be turning and will have the younger eggs in it.

I regularly do mixed hatches. Just move the eggs over to the other incubator during lock down. I would prepare your second incubator the night before and make sure temp and humidity are consistent and functioning properly

So both incubators are already running. They are both keeping consistent temperature, but I don't have hygrometers on either so don't know the humidity level. Is it still ok bc they are different incubator models/brands?

No both of my incubators are different brands. If temp is good and you're confident in humidity then feel free to switch incubators.

I would try to get a hygrometer because humidity is important on lockdown since too high of humidity can drown chicks and too low can cause them to shrink wrap
