I've been letting our mama hens and slow growing breed meat chicks free range with the flock, which does include our ducks & drake. The ducks & drake sleep elsewhere but do free range with the chickens. It was important that I mention where they sleep because I know people will question that. I only want the answer to my question, a simple yes or no question.

Anyway
I was wondering since I put the flock on flock raiser, if I could move mama hens and chicks into the big hen coop since the other chickens don't bother them at all. One of the hens, our b sex link actually chirps to them when she finds something which is super adorable.

Can I move mama hens and chicks into the big hen coop??

Yes you can , just monitor them for a little bit, before waking away. Mama hen will protect her babies

I would say, yes! Sounds like all is going well!

How old are the chicks? I'm asking out of curiosity, not because I think it makes any difference as to what you do - haha!

Should be 1 week old now. I got them last Wednesday.
But I'm thinking one might be 2 weeks old because it looks a week older than the other 2.
