Can I name her Betty?

I love that song!

Thanks for the vote, Christine.

I love that song, too! Amy, your chicks are cuteness personified! I can just follow your BR's progress and know that mine will look like that a week later! Stay warm tonight!

Hi there Susan! How are your new babies doing? You must be thrilled to have them. Don't blink whatever you do or you'll miss them growing up! Mine have been out in the coop with a heat lamp since they were 5 days old and they are doing great. These birds are going to be HUGE when they're all done growing. I've been documenting everything in my blog for posterity.

I've noticed that the BRs have a ton of personality and each one is very much an individual. Trying to tell them apart is enough to make me go cross-eyed!

Amy, the chicks are doing great! I'm planning on moving mine to the almost finished coop after this weekend. All we need is a human door which we will have after DH replaces DD's back door and we get her old one. It is half windows, so will be great for checking up on the chooks w/o opening the door. My grandson, Nathan, named one of the BRs--Peep. Still haven't decided on the other two yet.

Have you posted any pics of your chicks? I will have to see them! It's nice to know you are using recycled materials in your coop. That's the way to go!

I can't wait for my chooks to get big enough to keep their colored leg bands on so I can tell who is who! As soon as they lose their little facial marks I'm going to be in hot water trying to tell them apart!

I keep trying the leg bands on them but they just fall off still
