For the past month or so I have been getting ads for 'Viagra' which is a prescription medicine for a medical issue that would likely be considered inappropriate. Just every page that I load I will get 3+ ads for the exact same thing, a pill that I don't need, that will treat an illness that I don't have as I am a female...
My parents don't really respect my privacy when it comes to constantly looking over my shoulder whilst I'm on my computer, and I know that if they see these ads they are going to flip, and probably ban me from BackYard Chickens or something...

What am I supposed to do about this?

We have that category of ad set to be blocked, but sometimes they slip through our partner's filters. We're looking into finding them so we can block these specific ads.

Also, can you try to get the click URL of the ad for us?

On a desktop computer, right-click on the ad and look for "copy link URL" or similar.

On mobile, you can usually "long-press" the linked text of an add and then get a "copy link address" option.

I read Manga online, and therefore, I must be a sleazy guy who needs ALL the ads for Insert-ethnicity-of-choice Women who need mature men from Insert-random-area-within-two-hundred miles. I get those and "You can do anything in this online game" ads on BYC.

I'm a young woman. My search history is mostly comprised of BYC, random scientific afticles, and '80s country music from youtube. I have no idea where the internet gets its ideas.

Surely if your parents are on the internet ever, they understand that these ads happen?

:yuckyuck
Unfortunately my parents are your typical very strict religious parents who don't understand the internet, and think that everyone on it is out to get me... I also read online manga, and get ads like that. Not on BYC thankfully.

Here's the link to the website if that helps(Enter with caution BTW)

--- thanks for the link, removed for future clicks-----

Thanks! The actual "click URL" that is on the ad will usually be different from the URL you get at the page.

So, anybody reporting these ads, please don't click on them. Simply try long-pressing / right-clicking the ad to COPY the Link URL / Address... which will often be a very long string of text.

... then please send me a private message with the link so we can keep them off the forum :)
