I recommend the poop board highly, saves a ton of time cleaning poo off the bottom of your shoes, and makes it simple to compost too!

Here are some pictures of our set up:

These are stackable storage boxes we found at Lowe's, and this picture was before we put a circular hole in the backs of each one. They make the perfect nest box.

And here they are after:

These are the roosts that we've made from 2x4's. Each 2x4 is removable (not nailed down) and can easily we cleaned off.

here are my nesting box plans

This is the inside, WITHOUT the cross walls installed yet. (sorry for the Fuzzy Photo)

The first change I tackled was to make and install the "cross" shelving
into my chicken coop nesting boxes.

here is some photos of me finishing the removable chicken boxes:

The 2 gate latches at the top corners of the box, allow me to remove the entire box for hoseing down the inside of the coop...
