Recently it has been very hot 102 but can I put a fan on my chickens?

does it matter how strong the fan isYes, you can. Just make sure that the chickens have an area in which they can get away from the fan's airflow if they get uncomfortable. You can also put some ice cubes in their water to help cool them off.
Is the fan all you did to try to cool them down?I did and it didn't help, I still lost 2 chickens the very next day to heat issues. They suggest putting the fan facing the outside so it's blowing OUT of the coop, not in. Does that make sense? Air blowing on chickens isn't very good, it's better sucking the air from inside and blowing it outside... lemme see if I can find a picture..
No, I gave frozen fruits/veggies and then filled waterers with ice cubes. I had all doors and windows open trying to increase airflow. Is the fan all you did to try to cool them down?
