Dumb newbie question... TSC told me I need to put pine shavings, but we have loads of cedar shavings... is there a reason I can't put cedar shavings down where the hens lay eggs?

Thank you for your patience w/my dumb questions!

You can use cedar but remember the fumes can cause respiratory problems if you do not have enough ventilation so it is best to use a small amount under pine shavings.
